How to Bring Notification LED Back on Android

If you asked me about the one feature that I miss about all the Android devices, I would simply just go ahead and say notification LED. For some reason, this feature has long been abandoned by almost every Android manufacturer that we can think about, and in the past, there have been some attempts at reviving them via software, but none of them worked. However, I have now come across an app that lets you bring notification LED back on Android, and no, it is not a sham.
So, how do you bring notification LED back on Android? The process is rather simple and barely takes a few minutes to set up. You just need an app, and some permissions on your phone, and you are good to go. It is simple, straightforward, and yes, it does work.

Now, the app in question is aodNotifiy, at first I was under the impression that it only works on Samsung phones, but my colleague tried it on his Pixel, and it works just fine. If you have an Android phone, you can go ahead and install it, and you are good to go.
Step 1:  Download aodNotify from here .
Step 2:  Launch the app once it is downloaded, and you will be presented with this screen.

Step 3:  From this screen, tap  Next.
Step 4:  On the next page, you will be given a checklist, including selecting the apps and enabling other features. Make sure to go through every one of them.

Step 5:  Once that is done, you will be all set. The next thing that you have to do is start tinkering with the app and how you would like your notifications to show up.

That's it, you are all set, and you can finally have notification LED back on your Android. A few things to remember, though, the app works similar to how Always On Display works, so you can expect some battery drain, but I've been using it for two days and have not run into anything noticeable or significant. The second thing that you should know is that although the app is free and there are no ads, there is a pro version that unlocks more functionality and allows for deeper customization if you want to go with that.
