A prominent analyst has now corroborated that Apple's iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max will feature larger displays. Scroll down to read more details on what else you should expect with 2024 iPhone models.
Analyst corroborates earlier reports surrounding iPhone 16 Pro Display Size Increase
Apple is planning to significantly upgrade the iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Pro models later this year. The standard models will come with a Dynamic Island display while the iPhone 15 Pro models will feature an upgraded camera setup and an Apple Watch Ultra-like Action Button . It was previously rumored that the 'Pro' models will come with solid-state Volume and Power buttons but the plan was canceled due to production issues. According to Mark Gurman , the iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max will feature bigger displays than the forthcoming models.
This is not the first time that we are hearing details on a bigger display for the iPhone 16 Pro models. It was initially coined by display analyst Ross Young that the iPhone 16 Pro will feature a 6.3-inch display while the iPhone 16 Pro Max will feature a 6.9-inch display. Now, Gurman states that the screens on next year's iPhone models will be "a couple of tenths of an inch" bigger diagonally.
Currently, the iPhone 14 Pro features a 6.1-inch display while the iPhone 14 Pro Max features a 6.7-inch display. The iPhone 15 Pro models are expected to stick to the same display size but the bezels will be greatly reduced. The slimmed-down bezels will make the iPhone 15 Pro's display appear larger. We have previously seen a dummy unit of the iPhone 15 Pro Max and the device seems to look quite different than the current models as far as the screen is concerned.
The iPhone 16 Pro is reported to feature a 6.3-inch display while the bigger model will feature a 6.7-inch display. While numerous analysts and leakers have reported the same aspect, it is worth noting that the iPhone 16 launch is more than a year away and Apple could see fit to change the design. The iPhone 16 Pro models will also come with solid-state Volume and Power buttons. There you have it folks. We will share more details on the iPhone 16 Pro as soon as further details are available.
