Will Apple Announce A New Mac Pro At Its WWDC 2023 Keynote?

A consistent string of rumors claim that Apple intends to unveil several Macs and according to past information, one of them is expected to be a larger 15-inch MacBook Air powered by Apple’s M2. However, other details surrounding the remaining hardware are elusive, and since there have been several talks concerning the Mac Pro on previous occasions, so is there a possibility that the Mac Pro will get announced at WWDC 2023? Let us discuss this.
Apple’s Mac Pro should be the next hardware launch at WWDC 2023, but that might not be the case, according to previously reported evidence
It is highly likely that the Mac Pro will not be unveiled at WWDC 2023. We say this thanks to the current evidence at hand. Firstly, Apple is reported to begin trade-ins of multiple Macs on June 5, which is the exact same date as its software-focused keynote. As for which models are included, it is the M2 MacBook Air, M2 MacBook Pro, and the Mac Studio. Now, it is obvious why Apple is rumored to add two MacBook models to its trade-in program, as with the 15-inch MacBook Air launch, there is a chance that existing customers will want to experience the benefits of a larger machine.
What confused us earlier was why the Mac Studio was added to the company’s trade-in list, and at first, we believed it was because there was a chance Apple would announce the Mac Pro at WWDC 2023. However, a recent update we covered just a few hours ago states that the technology giant is testing two new Macs with the M2 Max and M2 Ultra options. The M1 Ultra is currently found in Apple’s first Mac Studio, which only means that the M2 Ultra can be found in its successor. Our investigation can conclude that perhaps Apple has delayed the Mac Pro until next year.
This benefits consumers as the Mac Pro can potentially feature the M3 Ultra, which would be Apple’s latest and greatest chipset that will supposedly be mass produced on TSMC’s 3nm process. At this stage, an M2 Ultra Mac Studio would be a much better option for power users as we are currently living in an economy where the majority of consumers would rather save than invest in pricey hardware like the Mac Pro. The Mac Studio is not only more compact than the workstation, but it will also likely be cheaper and, therefore, less taxing on the finances.
