What to Expect From Apple's WWDC 2023 Event Including iOS 17, AR Headset, and Much More
As mentioned earlier, Apple will host its WWDC 2023 event tomorrow at 10 AM PT or 1 PM PT. The event will be live-streamed on various platforms and you can watch it on any device . Additionally, the company will take center stage at Apple Park, Cupertino California. If you want to catch up on all the details that we know so far, check out everything you should be looking forward to at the event.

iOS 17
Starting with software, iOS 17 was rumored to be a minor update with upgrades solely revolving around maintenance. However, it was later uncovered that the update will bring a redesigned Control Center with interactive widgets support. It was also recently detailed that the update will include a new Smart Display feature which will transform your iPhone into a smart display with various Home features. Landscape Mode is also expected to arrive with iOS 17 at WWDC 2023 event.
The company is also looking to add a boatload of features to the Wallet and Health app as well as introduce a new Journaling app for content creators. The company is expected to unveil sideloading third-party apps but we suspect Apple will take its time before the update is available to the public.
iPadOS 17
While details surrounding iPadOS 17 are scarce, it was noted that the platform will come with the Health app for the first time. Other than this, we expect the update to come with numerous Lock Screen customization options as well as a revamped Control Center. Furthermore, it would make sense for the company to bring its Journal app to the iPad as it is a dedicated device for this type of app.

macOS 14
It is currently not known what macOS 14 will be called. While there are several guesses available, we will leave the naming to Apple. macOS 14 could also come with the new Journal app that could offer cross-device compatibility with the iPhone and iPad. Furthermore, the platform could also come with new Find My features.
watchOS 10
watchOS 10 is one of the updates that we are looking forward to the most. It was speculated that watchOS 10 will be the biggest update since the launch of the Apple Watch in 2015. For Apple Watch models with a larger display, it is rumored that the company will offer an iPhone-like interface for apps. This includes the addition of folders for enhanced app organization.
In addition to this, widgets are finally coming to the Apple Watch with watchOS 10. These widgets are reported to be one of the major announcements at Apple's WWDC 2023 event for the Apple Watch. Potentially, the widgets could be arranged in a fashion that resembles the "widget stacks" on the iPhone. The Digital Crown could house additional features other than taking you to the Home Screen. The stock apps on the Apple Watch could come with several upgrades to take advantage of the bigger display on the Apple Watch Ultra.

tvOS 17 and HomePod Software
tvOS updates have always been minor in scale. However, the company could have some changes set in place. Currently, there are no details available as far as the leaks and rumors are concerned. The company could surprise us with new features at its WWDC 2023 event but this is highly unlikely. The same can be said about the HomePod Software update. If the company has something in store for users, the HomePod audio could be further tuned for better output.
xrOS
It was recently reported that Apple's AR Headset will run the xrOS platform which will open the door for developers to make the necessary apps before the headset is available to the mass market. xrOS will focus on a wide range of aspects but reports suggest that it will serve as a means for communication, gaming, and media consumption. The company could offer a lot more so be sure to stick around,

Mac Studio
Apple is also looking to update its Mac Studio lineup with the latest internals. We have recently covered that the company is looking to upgrade its desktop with an M2 Max and M2 Ultra chipsets . The M2 Max chip will feature a 12-core CPU and a 30-core GPU with up to 96GB of RAM. Furthermore, the M2 Ultra will feature a 24-core CPU and a 60-core GPU with up to 192GB of RAM. You will be able to further upgrade the M2 Ultra Mac Studio with a 76-core GPU. While details are scarce, we would advise you to stick around as we cover the latest at Apple's WWDC 2023 event.
15-Inch M2 MacBook Air
In terms of hardware, we are expecting Apple to release a new larger MacBook Air with a 15-inch display. The notebook will feature the same design as the 13.6-inch variant but it will house some significant updates. While the device is rumored to feature the same chip as its smaller sibling, the notebook could potentially feature a larger battery. The display would stretch from corner to corner with a notch in the middle housing the FaceTime camera. The M2 chip will feature the same number of CPU and GPU cores as the current version and we suspect the device will be available with a starting price of $1,499.

Apple AR Headset
One of the major announcements this year will focus on Apple's AR Headset , the company's first major product announcement after the launch of the Apple Watch in 2015. Apple's headset is rumored to feature a design similar to ski goggles with dual 4K microLED displays on the inside as well as a curved display on the outside. Furthermore, the device will also house almost a dozen cameras for an enhanced augmented reality experience. The device will potentially be powered by Apple's M-series of chips as augmented reality requires a lot of processing power. However, the headset will not come cheap as reports suggest that the company will charge a whopping $3,000. The final design and specifications have not surfaced online, so be sure to take the news with a grain of salt.
This is all there is to it, folks. The company could also announce new accessories for the iPhone and Apple Watch at its event. We will be covering the event in extensive detail, so be sure to stick around, Share your expectations with us in the comments below.
