ArtmotionBot is our webspider robot for the Artmotion web search engine. We never let her browse the internet uncontrollably to give us results, we prefer to specify the site she will visit. so it depends on your choices about what exactly it will index.
Artmotion Search engine does not borrow results from other search engines but has its own results based on its listings and is not a simple directory. Our search engine is a spider, (crawler), are used by Internet to collect information about web sites and individual web pages. Artmotion S.E need information from all the sites and pages; otherwise they wouldn’t know what pages to display in response to a search query or with what priority.
Artmotion S.E. crawls the Internet and creates web queues for further exploration. As a particular Web site is covered by the search engine, the spider reads all the text, hyperlinks, meta tags (meta tags are specially formatted keywords that are inserted into the web page in a way that is designed to find and use it our crawler) and encodes. Using this information, the spider provides a profile to the search engine. The Artmotion spider then collects additional information by following the hyperlinks to the webpage, which gives it a better collection of data about those pages.
Our small team tries to give its best by working to give the most objective results to the search engine. Many search engines (we do not give names) suck because they no longer give purely unbiased results. They have filled their own search results with tons of crap and buried the answers you are looking for. First you need to scroll through the many paid ads. Forgetting that they have reached where it is thanks to all of us. For this reason as you will find in us there are (depending on the service) some very small charges. These charges are not a deterrent but are necessary to support the smooth running of our search engine.
Ιn this section with attribute icon in top menu (), you will find results from the websites that have been indexed. Despite the convenience that the search form with the 'Advanced Search' option, we gives you there are some commands to make your search more specific.
Search for all pages of one domain: Starting the query input with ' site: ', it is not necessary to enter the full domain address. For example if you enter 'site:artmotion.org' you will get a list of all pages that belong to the domain http://www.artmotion.org
Search only in one domain: Starting by entering: site:www.artmotion.org query and will present only results delivered by the (example) domain http://www.artmotion.org. Search input does not need a blank between site: and the URL of the domain, but between the URL and the query. In contrast to Link search site: , this mode requires the full URL to be entered into the search form (inclusive http://).
Strict search (!): This variant is invoked by entering a ''!'' as first character of the search query. If you search for '!motion' only results for the word 'motion' will be presented in the result pages. No results for words like 'art-motion' or 'artmotion' will be shown. Strict search only indicates results in the text part of the indexed pages and will respond only on a single word query. Strict search will overwrite the ‘Phrase Search’ option, which is nullified.
Wildcards search (*): This variant is invoked by entering a ''*'' as first character of the search query. This is the reverse function of Strict search. If you search for '*motion' the results for this word will be 'artmotion', 'likemotion' or 'somethingmotion'.
