Apple Has Started Hiring Numerous Generative AI Experts, Indicating Exciting Projects Coming in the Future

Apple job listings have been sighted, showing that the company is actually hiring several generative AI experts. This would only indicate that the company is finally looking to get serious about AI, and we are going to experience some really exciting AI-based projects.
TechCrunch discovered the job listings, and based on the information we have received, Apple currently has several postings available that you can apply for. Starting off, the company is looking for individuals who are experts at machine learning and are "passionate about building extraordinary autonomous systems."  This was one of many listings that started appearing.
Apple is looking to hire AI experts despite altogether banning employees from using Large Language Models due to security concerns
For those wondering, Apple is currently looking for several experts in fields such as Integrated System Experience, Input Experience, NLP, Technology Development Group, and Machine Learning R&D as well. In addition to that, the Cupertino giant has also mentioned how the company is looking to hire Visual Generative Modeling Research Engineer , which would require the individual to work on "visual generative modeling to power applications across computation photography, image and video editing, 3D shape and motion reconstruction, avatar generation, and much more."
In general, Apple's stance on AI has been interesting. We reported earlier that the company had banned the employees from using technologies such as ChatGPT because of security concerns, and just a couple of days after, we saw the official ChatGPT app appear on the App Store, as well. All of this points towards the fact that the company is actually invested in AI a lot more than it is telling the general public, but then again, that is nothing new as Apple has been working hard to bring AI to the masses, and we are hoping that the projects are going to be exciting and fun.
It is going to be some time before the company officially unveils what it has been working on but considering how the company has started hiring people for the positions, we are likely to see some official announcement shortly, so we will be sure to keep you updated with all the information that we get our hands on. It is also worth noting that Apple could hire these new individuals to work on existing projects rather than bring in new ones. One instant we can think about is Siri getting an AI-powered overhaul, but honestly, it is too early to say something.
