These are going to be the sequel to the critically and commercially acclaimed XM4s and a TWS version of the WH-1000XM5 . These have been rumored for some time now, and today, we finally have a look at what these are going to look like.

Sure, they will be on the more expensive side, but at least your money won't be wasted.

There is nothing much that has changed, but that is probably for the good. Now, for those wondering, the Sony WF-1000XM5 is going big on battery, and you will actually get 24 hours of total playback time with the case. Sadly, we don't know how each individual charge is going to last, but I am hoping it is somewhere between 6 to 8 hours. You will also get a 3-minute quick charge, which will give you hours of playback, which certainly is a good thing.
Sadly, there is not a lot that we know about the upcoming Sony WF-1000XM5, but I am hoping the near earbuds to bring top-tier upgrades across the board. As far as the pricing and release date are concerned, expect to pay $299 or slightly higher than that, and the launch should be happening soon.
I have been using the Sony WH-1000XM5 ever since they released, and they are among the best noise-canceling headphones that I have had the chance to look at.
